Shipping Policy
Last updated: April 2026
All works are packed and shipped with the same care with which they were made. We use specialist art packaging and, for larger and more valuable works, specialist art couriers. Please read this policy in full before placing an order.
1. Processing Time
Open edition giclée prints are printed to order and require 5–7 business days to prepare before shipping. Limited edition archival prints are held in flat storage and require 3–5 business days to inspect, pack, and despatch. Original works ship within 5 business days unless otherwise agreed. You will receive a despatch confirmation email with tracking information when your order leaves the studio.
2. Shipping Methods and Timelines
Prints — rolled tube
All prints up to 120 × 80 cm ship rolled in acid-free tissue inside a rigid reinforced cardboard tube with end-cap protection. Prints are never folded.

Large format prints and original works
Works larger than 120 × 80 cm, and all original works, ship via specialist fine art courier (Cadogan Tate, Momart, or equivalent depending on destination). A shipping quote will be provided before your order is confirmed. Shipping for these works is not included in the listed price and will be invoiced separately.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs for standard rolled prints are calculated at checkout based on destination. A flat-rate shipping fee applies per order regardless of the number of prints in the same tube. Large format and original work shipping is quoted separately as described above.
4. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict them. We recommend contacting your local customs office for information before placing an order.
We declare all shipments accurately. We do not falsify customs values or mark shipments as gifts to circumvent customs.
5. Packaging
Every shipment is packed to museum handling standards:
- Prints rolled in acid-free interleaving tissue
- Tube lined with additional tissue padding at both ends
- Outer tube wrapped in kraft paper and clearly marked FRAGILE — DO NOT BEND
- Certificate of authenticity and care instructions enclosed in a separate sealed envelope
6. Damaged Deliveries
If your work arrives damaged, you must:
- Photograph the outer packaging before opening
- Photograph the damage to the work itself
- Retain all packaging materials
- Notify us at sahir@sahir.studio within 7 days of delivery
Claims made after 7 days or without photographic evidence cannot be processed. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund depending on availability and circumstances.
7. Lost Shipments
If tracking shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours and building management. If the package cannot be located, contact us within 14 days of the tracked delivery date and we will open an investigation with the carrier. Replacements or refunds for lost shipments are subject to the outcome of the carrier investigation.
8. Contact
