These Terms and Conditions govern your use of sahir.studio and any purchase of works or services from Sahir Studio. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Sahir Studio is an independent art practice operated by Sahir. All works sold through this site are original photographic and mixed-media works created by the artist. For enquiries: sahir@sahir.studio.

2. Purchasing Works

Edition limits. Limited edition prints are sold in strictly enforced editions as stated on each product page. Once an edition is sold out, no further prints of that image will be produced in that format. Open edition works are not subject to edition limits.

Authenticity. Every limited edition print ships with a signed certificate of authenticity specifying the title, edition number, paper, and dimensions. Open edition prints are signed on the verso.

Prices. All prices are in US dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of purchase is the price you pay.

Payment. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Your card is charged at the time of purchase.

3. Returns and Refunds

Prints. Due to the nature of limited edition art, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the work arrives damaged. If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us at sahir@sahir.studio within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence of the damage and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Original works. All sales of unique original works are final. We strongly recommend studio visits or video calls before purchasing works above $2,000. We are happy to provide additional photographs, condition reports, and provenance documentation on request before purchase.

Commission deposits. Commission enquiries that proceed to a formal commission agreement require a 30% non-refundable deposit on signature of the commission brief. The remaining 70% is due on completion before delivery.

4. Commissions

Commission enquiries do not constitute an order or a contract. A commission begins only when both parties have agreed a written brief and the deposit has been received. We reserve the right to decline any commission without explanation. The artist retains the right to photograph, exhibit, and reproduce commissioned works for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Intellectual Property

All works on this site — photographs, prints, and original pieces — are the exclusive intellectual property of Sahir Studio. Purchase of a physical work does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any work purchased here without prior written permission.

6. Shipping

Shipping terms, timelines, and responsibilities are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sahir Studio's liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the price paid for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York County.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of sahir.studio constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
